This apartment in Florence is bright and spacious (approx)130 mq / 1400 sq ft_ with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The apartment has been recently renovated. From the wonderful terrace you enter in the living room with a kitchen and dining table, in which there is also a fireplace, a sofa, and some arm chairs.

The contemporary kitchen in fully equipped and has a lovely stye, the drawers and cabinets have been designed to resemble antique chests, and the countertop is stainless steel. On the right side, near the kitchen, there is the a guest bathroom.

Further on there is the first bedroom, decorated in shades of blue, with a queen bed (180 cm / 71 in) which can be divided.
The second bedroom, decorated in shades of beige has a queen bed (180 cm / 71 in) which can be divided as well. This bedroom has also an ensuite bathroom with shower, which also has access from the corridor.
The third bedroom has a double bed of 160 cm / 63 in which cannot be divided.
The last bedroom has a double bed (160 cm / 63 in) that cannot divided. The third bathroom with bath tub is at the end of the corridor, and is decorated in white marble and Corian.

From the living room you have access to the spacious private terrace, with wooden planks, furnished with sofas and armchairs where you can enjoy a leisurely aperitif. Can you imagine reading a book under the sun on this beautiful terrace?

The area
The apartment is located in the Oltrarno are of Florence. “Oltrarno” literally means “beyond the Arno” and this district which stretches along the south bank of the river has a different personality than that of the Duomo area. Perhaps representing the true character of Florence more, in general is slightly quieter, greener, and more relaxed than the other districts of Florence. Indeed many tourists tend to choose the Oltrarno for this reason. Traditionally an artisans’ quarter, the Oltrarno still has many lovely antique shops and artisans’ studios (particularly furniture and leather-workers) and Via Maggio remains the center of Florence’s antique trade. There are many interesting shops, cafes and restaurants in this area too. Ask us about more details.

Parking in Florence
The Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras, and access cameras (they will show either a red /green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) to obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify their need for access in the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s license plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.

The contract is in the Italian language and the fee is equal to 1% of the total rental price (with the minimum fee being 35.00€) plus 32.00€ for revenue stamps.
