This beautiful historical villa is set on the slopes of the hills near Lucca. A lovely setting in the countryside, yet close to all sights. It enjoys peace and quiet and a beautiful view of the countryside. This enchanting property preserves all the charm and character of a historic residence with its antique furniture, frescoed walls and large Italian garden overlooking the splendid panorama of the surrounding countryside.
Vacation Property Details
You enter the villa grounds through a large wrought iron gate, the pebble drive leading you under the trees around to the imposing front of the Villa. The Villa, with its tuscan rose colour presents a beautiful facade, facing the lovely formal gardens.
You enter into the villa at the ground level, into a lovely spacious living room, with several comfortable seating areas carefully arranged throughout this large room. Care has been taken to present a decor in keeping with the style of the villa, through use of lovely fabrics and colours throughout.
From the living room you can either turn right which leads to the staircase and elevator to take you to the upper floors; or you can continue straight through the large doors into the dining room, which has a large table that can seat up to 25.
To the left you will find a very well equipped kitchen, with all modern appliances, a very large fridge and freezer, an Italian coffee maker, toaster, American coffee maker and more; The kitchen has a section dedicated to professional cooking - which includes professional oven, dishwasher and pizza oven, which can be used for large events.
Upstairs:
This beautiful villa in Tuscany has 11 bedrooms with 11 bathrooms(ensuite). These are frescoed and luxuriously furnished with period pieces.
The rooms are large and airy and overlook the Italian garden. They are found on the second and third floor. They can be reached either by the staircase or the very convenient modern elevator that the owner thoughtfully restored during restoration.
Many of the bedrooms are on two floors, each one having two bathrooms; valet closets, very well laid out and planned. Each bedroom has own convenience mini fridge for cold drinks ( complimentary); Each room is spacious, large and if you are different couples I would say everyone has an equal room.
All the rooms have heating and air conditioning which can be regulated individually in each room, a mosquito screens, safe, free wireless Internet connection, fridge bar, TV with CD player and satellite channel reception. A hairdryer is provided in every bathroom. Mosquito screens are fitted to all windows.
Each room also boasts a hospitality towel kit including a soft towelling robe, swimming towel and terry towel slippers -- available for all guests.
All the rooms can be reached both by a comfortable lift and by easy stairs.
The beautiful formal gardens entice you to walk and enjoy the many corners of this paradise.
The swimming pool (14m x 6m) is surrounded by a bay hedge and a pergola of roses and lies within the park, beside the Italian garden. The large sun-bathing area gives guests the chance to soak up the Tuscan sun in complete privacy. (note the owner recently installed fencing around the pool to ensure the safety of any children and comply with legal requirements;the look of this may change in the future)
The plentiful loungers, deck chairs and parasols enable you to fully enjoy the sounds and scents of the countryside in complete relaxation.
The villa is located near Lucca ( about 15 min drive); in the immediate area you find many of the famous 'grand villas' of Lucca which you can visit during your stay here. Shops and small village within walking distance; large grocery shop about 15 min drive.
