This stunning luxury Amalfi coast villa can accommodate up to 24 people. It is set high above Amalfi, yet allows for a short walk into town.is This newly built Amalfi Villa is situated in a unique panoramic position: looking from one side you will see Atrani, with its intricate maze of houses built on top of each other, on the other side you will see Amalfi and its blue sea. The villa is isolated from the noisy traffic, but at the same time is a short walk to the centre of the town, immersed in lush lemon gardens.
Vacation Property Details
From the main road you climb a flight of steps (100 approx) till the main gate of the Villa. From this point you still have to climb approx 70 steps to reach the main floor of the villa . Once here you will feel repaid for the effort: the sun, the blue Mediterranean sea, the view will enchant you.
The villa is newly built on the original XIII century monastery of St. Francesco monks. There is also a small walking path going up on the mountains once used by monks for their spiritual retreats.
The villa is built on four levels, and you can access from the ground floor or from the top floor.
Everything is new and the atmosphere is very elegant: all interiors are decorated with barrel vaults painted with flowers and subtle colours, original wooden beams, hand painted ceramic floors with bright colours and volcanic stones contrasting the immaculate white walls
Main entrance is on the top floor, where are located all the common areas: the living rooms are large , airy and sumptuous.
Great arches and columns create three different areas in the large open space living room, equipped with white sofas, coloured armchairs, tables and chairs, ensuring a relaxing indoor stay. French balconies offer stunning views over the sea.
From the living room there is a small flight of steps leading upstairs to a double bedroom with access to a large roof top terrace overlooking the sea.
From the living room you will have also access to the kitchen and, through a big sliding glass door, to the main terrace.
The kitchen is large and bright, with professional stove top and oven, which allows both a great chef and a basic cooker, to prepare your favourite dishes. On one side you will find a very long built-in kitchen, decorated with Vietri ceramic tiles and wood shutters. The kitchen is complete of all cooking tools and equipments, traditional oven, microwave, large refrigerator, washing machine and dish washer. The kitchen communicate with the terrace through a French door.
The view from the terrace is breathtaking: it lies over the picturesque Atrani village , in a high position, and dominates the tower bell, the majolica cupola, the small coloured houses and the sea. It is the ideal place for pleasant moments of relaxation, kissed by the warmth of the sun and the heady scent of the lemon orchards. And you too will feel the emotion of being suspended between sky and sea.
It is very large, with part of it in grass and part in ceramic tiles. The terrace is equipped with sofas, sun beds and stone benches.
Also there is a big roof on a side covering a dining area, which can accommodate up to 30 people, equipped with stone benches, tables and armchairs, and a wood oven to cook a fabulous pizza.
From the living room , a flight of stairs (approx 18 steps) will take you to the middle floor which houses 7 bedrooms (included a junior suite composed of a bedroom and a private living room with sofa and LCD screen)
13 more steps take to the lower floor which houses 4 more bedrooms
Some bedrooms allow an extra bed (up to 2 extra beds- no extra charge).
All bedrooms are newly built, equipped with LCD screen, air conditioning and heating, decorated with high vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, hand painted ceramic floors with bright colours and volcanic, as for the rest of the villa.
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, both with bath or shower, hairdryer, mini bar, balcony or window with front sea view.
Access: The Villa is accessed from the main road by climbing a flight of steps (100 approx) till the main gate of the Villa. From this point you still have to climb approx 70 steps to reach the main floor of the villa
You will be approximately 600 meters (550 yards) from Amalfi, where you will find the shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 300 meters (660 feet) and the closest beach at roughly 600 meters (550 yards). You will reach the villa going up a 200-meters (660-feet) public walkway that cuts through a small country road and includes approximately 170 stairway steps.
