This apartment in Florence is located in a lovely Palazzo on the second floor, without elevator; there are 53 steps.

This large, modern apartment (147 sq.mt /1582 sq.ft) has been very nicely restored, retaining the stone walls in some of the rooms, which gives you a wonderful atmosphere of times gone by, truly a Florentine age. It has 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people and has 4 bathrooms.

As you enter the apartment you find yourself in a welcoming and well furnished dining room. From here turn right to the first double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This bedroom/bathroom is unique in that the bathtub is not divided by a wall but is instead in the bedroom itself.

On this same side of the apartment there is a second double bedroom that is identical to the first one, you can either enter through the first bedroom ( for families) or through its own entrance door. Both bedrooms are furnished with all modern comforts, lovely large beds too.

Back towards the dining room, and through the other side - a corridor leads to the well equipped kitchen, the living room, and the two other bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other has twin beds, each bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom.

  Parking
  Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages. in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify they need access for the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.
