This villa rental near Cortona is a wonderful 500 year old Tuscan farmhouse, perched on a hill overlooking valley and rolling Tuscan hills; magnificent views.
If it has been your dream to own a house in Tuscany pretend for a moment that this is it! A home in Italy that has everything you could wish for.
note:The driveway is a narrow unpaved road that goes along the hillside. All our guests love the villa, the decor, ambiance, charm and privacy, but please be aware of this approach. Every single guest to stay at this Cortona villa remained enchanted by the house and the location so at the end the it is worth the drive on this road.

This villa in Tuscany has been lovingly restored over the last 5 years; it has finished to the high standard that the owner would expect in her own home. They spent many weekends scouring the antique markets in Arrezo and Cortona to furnish the house and have used all local specialists for the furniture, from Busatti to Lorenzini.

The main house has 3 bedrooms all finished to the highest standards , each with own bathroom and each overlooking the green valley below.
In the main bedroom there is the original stone sink which is a lovely feature.
The pretty guest cottage has its own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and is a great place for the kids to stay, near to the main house.

There is a beautiful private swimming pool and spacious sun deck large enough for 8 people to relax.
In addition, there is even an area to play football, complete with a goal!
The grounds have been greatly restored and landscaped.

The house has telephone, internet, wireless, computer with printer, Sky TV, Dishwasher, Freezer, Washing Machine, Tumble dryer, Cappucinno machine, bread maker, indoor and outdoor dinning tables and everything expected of a well equipped villa. Note: there is no a/c.

  Private and hidden and yet close enough for a long walk into Cortona*, to sample the local restaurants, which all have great food, friendly atmosphere and are excellent value for money.
  
  *NOTE: Walk to Cortona in about 45-60 min

  Florence is about an hour away by car or train, Sienna 60 minutes away and you can take the train from the Chiusi train station (about a 40 min drive) to Rome ( 1.5 hrs) for a fun day out in the capital and still return in time for dinner in Cortona.

All rates are inclusive of taxes, power and water consumption, bed and bath linens.
Final cleaning of €120 payable locally to be paid on arrival
Tourism Tax not included, if is located prior to occupancy; the client will have to pay this locally on occupancy. (current rates are €2 - €6 per person per day in other regions)
