The private unpaved avenue, lined with cypress trees, leads to the property, which is immersed in a large park with cultivated olive trees and is surrounded by a extensive field that has a charming view and total privacy.
It has been wonderfully restored, creating perfect harmony between its modern comforts and original feel.

Interior: The main entrance is on the ground floor. Here you find : the large spacious living room, very nicely furnished, with fireplace, the dining room, the fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom, a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
The laundry area completes the ground floor.

Upstairs you find a lounge, the master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, and walk-in wardrobe. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub,
There are two additional double bedrooms, a single bedroom, and two bathrooms with shower.
Outside, Opposite the main entrance is an annexe with a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom with shower. This annex is lovely and I would think would work well for someone who wants a bit of privacy from the rest of the group - like honeymooners, or a couple with a baby, or even the grandparents, who need a bit of respite from all the commotion...however it is very much part of the estate - and very close to the main house;

    There is a weekly charge of 250 euros for heating the pool. Any requests must made in advance and be paid before arrival.

    Distances and Location This wonderful villa rental is situated on the hills in the province of Pisa, around 13 km from the town of Pontedera, where all the necessary services (shops, banks, restaurants, and post office) can be found.
    Its location is particularly favourable; with the nearby motorway network you can easily reach the major cities of art and tourist spots in Tuscany (Florence 1 hour, Lucca 1 hour, San Gimignano 40 minutes, Pisa 25 minutes, Volterra 40 minutes, Siena 1½ hrs). It takes only 30 minutes to reach Pisa International Airport; a convenient train station in Pontadera allows quick and easy access to Florence.

Included:
Bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linens, with change of linens twice a week; daily maid service 6 days per week, 2 hours per day.
Not included in the price: Tourist Tax: each guest above 10 years of age will need to pay 5,00 € each for their stay in cash on arrival Telephone usage, chef upon request. Swimming pool heating charge: €250 per week, if used.
Please note that pool cannot be covered at night so water temperature will not reach higher than an average of 26°C.

was exactly what we had hoped it would be. We travelled as 2 families with 5 children (aged 6-17) between us. The villa had all the facilities we needed. The pool & gardens were so lovely and picturesque & were maintained very well. The villa is located near Palaia which is a lovely little town with all of the facilities you need (supermarket, pharmacy, gelati, coffee stores,...) It is also within very easy reach of many larger cities & towns such as Pisa, Siena, Florence and our favourite San Gimignano. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tuscany and will have fond memories of our stay in Villa Fagna for a long time to come

Roger. 4.9/5 I will never forget the vacation I spent at this villa. We couldn’t have asked for more, villa is so wonderfully furnished with beds so very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The cleaning lady was coming every single day. It was good to get away to the nature, at least for couple of days. Of course we took the opportunity to drive to Pisa (about 30 mins drive) and take photos in front of the famous tower. A terrific experience!
