This Positano luxury villa is a bright and elegant villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps 12 people,breathtaking view of Positano and of the sea. It is spacious - 500 square meters (5380 square feet). It features an in-door(and outdoor) swimming pool, private terraces with a view of the sea, air conditioning, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You enter the villa on the top floor and will find a splendid living room with windows all around so you never lose sight of the sparkling sea. There are comfortable sofas and satellite television here too. Two of the bedrooms are on this level, both doubles with their own en suite bathrooms, one even with a panoramic terrace with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub, a shower and sun loungers.
All bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning/heating, telephone and LCD satellite television. The bathrooms are also particularly smart with their bold patterned tiles and modern utilities.
Down one level is a very spacious open plan room comprising a sleek kitchen with all the latest appliances and equipment (4 hobs, electric oven, stem oven, dishwasher, American style fridge, coffee machines, toaster and pizza oven), a second cozy living area and a huge dining area which opens on to a beautiful terrace of approximately 180sqm, ideal for entertaining. 3 further double bedrooms also have their own en suites.
Finally, the lower level holds the sixth double bedroom and bathroom. Furthermore, on this level is also the indoor Jacuzzi tub, an indoor swimming pool, an LCD television, a Turkish bath and shower.
Vacation Property Details
Located roughly 1.5 km (0.6 miles) from the center of Positano, where you will find restaurants, the shops and the beach. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line a few meters (feet) away. To reach the villa from the parking area go down an external stairway which consists of approximately 50 steps. You will not need a car to stay at Villa Voltaire . If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, in a fenced covered parking space.
Top Level - Terrace 1
The first terrace is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. It is equipped with chairs, two deck chairs, two sun loungers and an external shower. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of Positano and of the coastline.
Living Room 1
The ceiling of the living room is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and bright. They include three sofas. In this room you will find a satellite television. The room has eight large panoramic arched window s with a view of the sea and of Positano. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The furnishings are romantic and elegant. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the first terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through two French doors. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a telephone. The second terrace is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by retractable awnings. The terrace is equipped with sofas and four armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs, two deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of Positano and of the sea.
Living Room 2:
The furnishings of the living room are modern and welcoming. They include three armchairs. There is an elegant fireplace. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is very well equipped, with a four-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a steam oven, an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and other small appliances. In the kitchen you will find also a wood-fired pizza oven.
The dining table can accommodate 12 guests. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the second terrace with a view of Positano and of the sea at a distance through a French door. The room has a window. Terrace 3 The third terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the swimming pool along an external stairway. It is partly shaded by trees. It is equipped with chairs and two deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of Positano and of the sea at a distance.

The little supermarket, at a short distance from the villa,is well stocked and provides nearly everything one would need.

The local mini-shuttle which runs in and around Positano and the SITA bus that connect all the villages along the Amalfi coast , stop right in front of the main gate of the villa.
A short bus ride takes guests to Positano down town center and beaches ( 3 km) To the right of the main beach numerous ferries and hydrofoils ply daily between Positano and Capri ( 50 min ), Ischia ( 75 min ), Naples ( 50 min ), Amalfi ( 30 min ) and Salerno ( ½ h )
The main beach in Positano , is also home to several restaurants offering excellent local cuisine and rent boats to explore the surrounding coastline, and visit the many small grottoes along the coast.
