Casa Margherita is a converted stone built Tuscan farmhouse, part of which dates back to the 15th Century.
The property, once belonging to one of the most renowned estates of the Chianti region, is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico, two kilometres away from the village of Gaiole in Chianti

The house, which has been recently refurnished by the new owner, is surrounded by well maintained lawns and gardens.
Ground Floor Large sitting room; kitchen and further small sitting room with unprotected stairs to a study/dining room opening onto garden;
Large dining hall; bathroom (shower and bath); small twin bedroom off the wine room (most suitable for teenagers).
First Floor Large sitting room with fireplace; master double bedroom with large bathroom en suite;
Double bedroom; twin bedroom; bathroom (bath and shower); small twin bedroom; bathroom (shower only).
There is also a lovely swimming pool. Two outside dining terraces overlooking the lawns and one of which also has views over the pool.

The housekeepers live in a separate apartment at the back of the house.
Maid service is included in the price 9 hours per week.
