Mas de Bien-Être is a typical Provencal stone house dating to the mid 1700’s. Situated in an historic Hamlet on an agricultural plateau covered in vineyards, corn and sunflower fields, this charming and cheerful house has been fully modernized and features a bright open plan living area.

The whole area is mainly south facing with numerous French windows opening onto the terrace and further out the garden with a sweeping lawn, mature trees and a large pool, looking out to farm fields.

    All living quarters, including the kitchen, are interconnecting each other and open up on the south side of the house via door-windows leading to a terrace and the garden.
    A fire place, centrally situated, separates the dining room from the lounge & opens on both sides.

    The kitchen is an interesting and a well appointed area. It has been recently remodelled with large granite-topped island, unlimited cupboards, built-in dishwasher, American fridge and microwave oven and large cellar/back kitchen. Lacanche oven with gas stove.

    The lounge is very comfortable with its large clear leather sofas and its stone walls and the dining room has a large blond table to comfortably welcome numerous guests.
    From the family room, a staircase takes you up to a mezzanine level where there are equipments to do physical exercises.

    The master bedroom, with its full bathroom en-suite (tub, separate shower, 1 washbasin & WC), is situated on ground floor and is equipped with door-windows leading to the garden, on west side.
    From the entrance room, where there is a powder room/cloakroom, an indoor staircase (stylished wrought iron handrail) leads up to a level where there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and separate toilets.

    • 1 bedroom with bunk beds (75cmx1.85cm)
      Those three bedrooms share two bathrooms: One bathroom has a tub with hand shower, 2 wash basins and towel-heater. The other one is a shower room with 1 wash basin and towel-heater

      At the top left of the staircase, there is a vast area devoted to children, a sort of gaming room, where there is also a bed that can be occasionally used as additional bedding for a child...

      The house is accessible through a wrought iron electric gate giving access to a large covered courtyard used as a car port and from where one reaches the main entrance door of the house.
      Entrance is from the back. Slightly aside, on the left, it is well protected from view by a long wall, punctuated with cypresses, that provides privacy to the place...
      As we are in a Hamlet we talk about a quiet and friendly neighbourhood!

Countryside walks and biking are all possible out the front door.
Just 3 kilometres away is the Provencal village of Puyricard with its bustling weekly farmers’ market (Fri mornings) and several bakeries, butchers, tea room, boules square and other shops.
The famous St Victoire Mountain painted by Cezanne can be reached by car in 15 minutes. In 30 minutes, you will find Mediterranean beaches and the ancient and now hip city of Marseille.
The Luberon National Park and many other charming villages and wine growing regions in Provence are also waiting to be explored close by.
