15 people (6 couples and 3 children) + 2 extra sleeping available for children in the TV room and the 2nd floor landing. The house is around 350 m2 ( 3500 sq ft.) not including the Orangerie which is used as a games room with table tennis and bar-football. There are a large number of games available for use by the guests.

Vacation Property Details
Built on top of a softly rolling hill a long time ago, this beautiful Bastide with its pretty vert de gris coloured shutters typical of the Aix-en- Provence countryside architecture, dominates, this lovely green setting. From its cellars to its loft it displays great unity in colours, from the lovely light beams of its ceilings to the pale ivory and light beige of its stone floors. It shows its character in the way it makes a statement amidst the scenery, with a lot of seduction as well as a hint of arrogance!
The evocative town of Aix-en-Provence, is not very far away and will delight you with all its possibilities. Young adults in search of happy times and partying opportunities will not be disappointed!Ground floor: An elegant entrance hall pleasantly furnished with a majestic stone staircase and a sumptuous elaborate wrought iron banister swirling towards the top two floors. A cloakroom and guest toilets.
From the entrance you can reach the very comfortable T.V. lounge with two sofas, the kitchen and laundry room which is also a pantry with the boiler and the washing machine. Dryer available on request.
The kitchen is a long space and opens onto the terrace. It is a very well organized and appointed room, large enough for meals to be taken there. Some pretty paintings on the wall and a “country-chic” decoration.
There is a large wood and metal table , a Sauter brand gas cooker, a fire place with BBQ close to the cooker, two ovens, one of them electric, microwave oven, Bosch brand dishwasher, beige marble twin bowl sink, electric coffee maker, Nespresso machine with capsules ( they will be sold on site).
The living quarters unfold in succession from the kitchen : there is a small office communicating with the TV room, a spacious lounge with a fireplace decorated in pleasantly harmonious colours, restrained and elegant contemporary furniture in light tones and a dining room that can accommodate numerous guests and opens out to the west side of the house and the vineyards. These reception rooms are open plan, airy and wonderfully light, but above all comfortable and welcoming. They all open out through French windows on the front of the house onto a large gravelled terrace decorated with plants and facing south.
On either side of the terrace deck chairs have been arranged under giant Micocouliers trees, thus creating outdoor sitting areas with different atmospheres. At the bottom end of this terrace, there are some dry stone stairs to reach a large grassy area featuring the swimming pool.On the first floor: A prettily decorated and furnished landing marks the entrance to this floor. Opposite are separate toilets.
On the left hand side: One double bedroom with 1,60m bed (twin beds linked together) with a faded pink “Toile de Jouy” typical “boutis” style bedspread. This room has three windows: one to the front of the house overlooking the terrace to the south and the other two opening to the west with a view of the gates and the long drive bordered by cypresses.
There is an en suite shower room in dark orange colours with a pretty wash hand basin set in a wooden cabinet. The decoration is harmonious with tawny curtains.In the centre: One double bedroom with 1,60m bed ( twin beds linked together) covered in flowery red on a beige background “boutis”, red curtains, two windows overlooking the terrace to the south and en suite bathroom with a bath and a hand wash basin in a pretty wooden cabinet. Tints of almond green for the bathroom and beige and red for the bedroom. Charming and harmonious decor.
At the end of the corridor and a little out of the way from the rest of the house, passing a lovely red Kilim rug laid on the bare stones and slatted cupboard doors, is the Master bedroom with 1,60m bed ( twin beds linked together) covered with a striped aqua green bedspread.
The en suite bathroom has a provençale shower, twin wash hand basin and toilet. This is a lovely room with romantic decoration in tones of pastel blue, stucco finished walls and French style period decoration on the ceiling. The bathroom in tones of grey and white is spacious and very comfortable.
Now...back to the lovely stairs to reach the next floor whilst discovering some of the interesting art on the walls!On the second floor: On the landing to the left there is a large TV room for the children with a window opening out onto the side of the house, it is furnished with 2 simple beds used as sofas, covered in pretty coloured boutis and can be used as occasional beds for children.
Slightly to the right and up a few steps you get to separate toilets. On the left hand side: One double bedroom with 1,60m bed (twin beds linked together), a window opens out onto the south terrace. Curtains are a very fresh and cheerful striped red fabric. On one side two further windows offer stunning views of the area and the Pinchinats hill just opposite, on the other side of the old road leading to the Alps, that you can just about make out trough the trees. Large en suite shower, in shades of beige and natural tones, with a wash hand basin in a wooden cabinet. This is separated from the sleeping area by slatted shutters used as a screen.Further along in the corridor there is a large bedroom with 3 single beds and a wash hand basin that is suited for a dormitory for 3 children. There are two windows, one to the west and one facing the back of the house. The decoration is cheerful and bright.
At the end of the corridor, reached by a few steps, there are two double bedrooms (twin beds linked together) facing each other. They both have a wash hand basin. One of the rooms has two windows overlooking the southern terrace and the other one a window to the south and a window to the west with views over the vineyard close to the property.
These two bedrooms share a large bathroom in shades of neutral and pure white, very contemporary and stylish with high quality fittings, a large modern shaped bath, imposing antique wash hand basin and spacious Provençal shower unit.Staff: 3 to 4 hours cleaning per day to be charged to the client and to be paid on site at the cost of 15€/hour.
