This little Borgo forms part of a well known olive oil producing estate very near Lucca. There are several villas on the property ( separate listings) as well as this enclave of building, charmingly restored into several large bedroom suites - which can be rented separately or together, by the night or the week.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped, lovely setting near Lucca.
The restoration was meticulously carried out - keeping the lovely ancient beams, using authentic materials throughout. This property has a true Tuscan feel, decor has been thoughtfully executed with lovely soft colours and fabrics.
The Contessa's lovely old Hermes and Ferragamo scarves are beautifully framed and decorate the dining room.
All bedrooms have bathroom en-suite and bedrooms at Fienile ( see seperate listing), Fienilino and the suite in Bruschini have air conditioning.
The units are described as follows:
Fienile B : 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, sitting room and kitchen;
Fienilino: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and kitchenette;
Rosina: 1 suite with double bedroom and twin bedroom, 2 double bedrooms, sittingroom/kitchen;
Iole: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, sitting room/ kitchen. Double bedroom with independent access;
Bruschini: 3 double bedrooms and 1 suite with double bedroom and twin bedroom.
Distances:
Lucca area is a good location for visiting many sights in Tuscany, although it does take somewhat longer if you want to visit Chianti, Siena and further south. Please ask us for details.
There is a small village nearby has a coffee bar (1 KM);
Lucca - 25 minutes by car; ( can request taxi pickup to take you to the train station for easy trips to Florence or Cinque Terre;
Pisa - 50 minutes ( Pisa airport a little less time); we can arrange driver pickup and drop off to Pisa airport but recommend having a car at this location.
Florence - 1.15 hrs by car;
(possible to take train or bus from Lucca centre);
Rome or Venice: about 3.5 - 4 hours - straight driving, no stops; longer for leisurely drive;
For larger groups, weddings, reunions and more, consider renting one of the large villas - Buonvisi, il Leccio, Casa Maria or Casa Claudia. This little Borgo is ideal for guests who may join you for only a few days.
