This charming two bedroom rental apartment is quintessential Florence, from its amazing frescoes, discovered during the recent restoration, and the beautiful fabrics used throughout, to the views onto the Medici Chapel nearby.
This rental apartment in Florence is located in a wonderful 14th century Palazzo; the apartment was completely renovated in 2008. The whole building consists of three floors ( no lift).
Lorenzo Grande Uno is located in the San Lorenzo area of Florence, an easy walk to all the major sights. Located on a quiet side street is not far to walk to the famous San Lorenzo Market, the Duomo, Santa Maria Novella Train station and more.
On the 2nd floor (no lift) the apartment is about 65 sq m ( 650 sq feet) with two double bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and living room with fireplace.
The rooms have amazing frescoes dating back to the 14th C – discovered during the restoration as a simple line drawing, the owners called the museum specialists and suddenly found a delay of 9 months while the walls were painstakingly cleaned and restored to expose the wonderful original frescoes.
The two double bedrooms are spacious with large beds ( on request can be made up as twins) with beautiful frescoes on the walls. The bathroom has a shower, of course, sink and toilet.
The first spacious, bright master bedroom has beautiful rich furnishings, easy chairs, an antique wardrobe and dresser and mirror ; the room is covered in fresco’s.
The second spacious double bedroom has exposed wooden beams, which add character, Florentine furnishings, an antique wardrobe, and two mirrors.
The bathroom is finished with high quality fittings and some original exposed bricks have been featured, for a rustic effect.There’s a shower, toilet, washbasin and a washing machine.
The kitchen is not large, yet well planned and fully equipped for all your cooking and serving needs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, gas cookers, american coffee machine and kettle, pots, plates and cups.
