Pomodoro
An antiques dealer, loaded with talent and taste, decided to convert an abandoned factory in Provence into an ultra-contemporary house in order to rent to his friends.
It is called Pomodoro, because it was formerly a tomato factory. It is now an imposing house with a side terrace where the entrance is.
Vacation Property Details
One enters into a luminous universe where white and blond wood are in harmony. In the living quarters, beautiful contemporary furniture, comfortable sofas facing the fireplace and doors window opening on to a southern terrace overlooking the garden and the swimming pool.
From the terrace a stairway takes you to the garden (approximately 2,000square meters), with a new-style pond/swimming pool (20 x 4m) in the center. Trees and flowers create a quite private area in spite of a next door building hidden by trees and bushes.
In the dining room that adjoins the living room, there is a superb wood counter/cabinet that communicates with the kitchen for easy passing through of dishes. Beautiful table seats 10.
The kitchen is a large room with a creative decor. High quality appliances: American refrigerator, Lacanche stove, microwave oven, TV and a beautiful grey marble table for informal dining.
Under the stairway, on the kitchen side: the laundry room (washer and dryer).
On the living room side, guest powder room.
At the foot of the interior stairway, another door opens onto the south terrace. This stairway takes us up to the bedrooms.
Upstairs the floor is black painted wood.
The Master bedroom - bed 1.80 x 2m - has two south windows and one on the side. The wood beams on the ceiling are nicely painted, where there is a ceiling fan. This room connects to a complete bathroom, with bathtub, shower, sink and toilet.
Two bedrooms on the east side - 1.60 m bed - share a pretty bathroom with bathtub, sink and toilet. Beautiful fabrics, Provencal quilts and comfort throughout.
In the very exotic colonial style garden cabin there is an adorable nicely furnished extra bedroom with bathroom, as well as an efficiency summer kitchen facing the pool.
Separate toilets.
House linen is provided as well as pool towels, electricity, pool maintenance and upkeep garden. Please note: Telephone line is restricted to local calls only. Staff: ------- 4 hours per week are requested by owner, to be paid by renters at a rate of 12 euros per hour. Final cleaning to be paid by renters: 180 euros
