Mezzola is a typical stone-built Tuscan farmhouse, located on an estate producing Chianti wine, only 1 kilometre from Cerbaia and 18 kilometres from the centre of Florence.
Until last year, it was the home of the owner, an antique dealer, who restored and furnished it for family use. The interiors of the house are very comfortable and furnished with antiques.

The living area is particularly spacious, with a big living room and kitchen, opening to a furnished courtyard where outdoor meals can be enjoyed.

There is a kitchen opening onto the front courtyard furnished for eating outside; also on this floor - there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only) and sitting area.
First Floor: Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and dressing room with single bed; twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom;
2 double bedrooms; bathroom.
On this floor there is a small bridge connecting to the back garden where the pool is situated.
NOTE - re Air conditioning In the bedrooms on the first floor air conditioning is available at extra cost.
Staff
Maid service is included 3 hours a day, 5 days a week.
The location of the house is ideal,for exploring the surrounding Chianti area, being less than ten minutes from the two highways connecting Florence to Siena and Pisa, it is possible to visit either of these wonderful Tuscan cities in less than one hour’s drive.
The housekeeper lives at the back of the house in a separate apartment.
