The region is known as "La Maolina" and is famous for its wine. This property offers not only a lovely rural setting but also the convenience of being only a 10-minute drive from the centre of Lucca.

From the house itself, and especially from the verandah, which stretches the whole length of one side of the property and is furnished for eating “al fresco”, there are marvellous views of the plains of Lucca and the hills beyond.
The garden surrounds the house with small lawns and flowering shrubs and beyond these are vineyards and olive groves.
There is a French-style bowling alley and table tennis.
